Following the great experience with the first edition of the Romanian CTO Workshop we are delighted to announce the second ROCTO Workshop that will be held in Oradea, Romania on the 24th and 25th of November 2023.

The interest in CTO PCI has seen a tremendous surge all over the world with numerous expert meetings and courses. This two-day workshop wants to be an interactive, hands-on course set in a familiar and friendly ambiance. Upon reviewing the basics, tips & tricks and complex techniques in the first workshop we plan on further developing our skills during the second edition of the workshop. The hope is to further coagulate the operators interested in CTO PCI and from this starting point to build up a community like the ones existing in other countries. This endeavour is meant to be an inclusive not an exclusivist one. We are convinced that, by sharing our experience and with the help of our international faculty’s knowledge, we can make this workshop memorable and of course fun.

This interactive and educational course includes:

• 6 Live Cases transmitted from within our cath labs and performed by teams of 2 Romanian operators and one international proctor.
• 5 Live Cases transmitted from established CTO cath labs in Europe.
• Live audience discussion about the strategies employed during the 6 live cases.
• CTO case presentations with emphasis on learning different skills
• Structured discussions of recorded cases: „my most challenging CTO case”
• Hands-on workshops (IVUS, Coils, guidewires, microcatheters)
• Industry exhibition
